Untitled (studs)>> a work that falls somewhere between allegory and abstraction while exploring the body's relationship to the built environment and some too often binarized gendered "cladding." The work consists of the performer's strange struggle to strap as many ten-foot steel wall studs to their high-heeled body as possible using panty-hose. The process is intended to shake off binary associations with certain tropes of dress and labor, abstracting them through a strange sort of dance.
