Johnny Forever Nawracaj is a nonbinary, Polish­born writer, performer and multidisciplinary artist currently based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. Their work weaves surrealist narrative through soft sculpture, video, gesture and drag-inflected performance to explore love, loss, and labour with a particular investment in these themes as a part of radical queer and trans cultural production.

Forever has shown video work internationally at various artist run centres, galleries and museums and as part of group curations including Meiblau Projektraum in Berlin, the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow,  The Coming Societee in Hong Kong, Struts & Faucet Media Arts Centre in Sackville New Brunswick, and  The Museum of Art And Design.

Their videos and performances have been programmed in festivals like the National Queers Arts Festival in San Francisco, the Seoul 12th International New Media Festival, the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics' Encuentro, La Real Periferica in Valparaiso, Chile, the Miami Performance International Festival, HTMelles Feminist Festival in Montreal, and the Rhubarb Festival in Toronto. Forever frequently collaborates with their partner, sound artist Gambletron.

They hold an MA in Art History from Concordia Univerity and in 2020 they graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree from USC Roski School of Art and Design as an International Artist Fellow.
